A Matter of Perspective

So I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.

Yes, I use and sell cosmetics and skincare that is anti-ageing.

However I’ve changed the way I see what I deem “anti-ageing”.
It’s term for a byproduct of renewing your skin by using our products.

I recently had my first ever facial. I have acne scarring, expression lines, and large pores. That’s all I see, that’s what I cover up.

This me from August 2017. Wow.

I was surprised, however, to hear the aesthetician tell me my skin was in great condition. She saw past what I focus on. She could see it’s hydrated, glowing, and healing from the acne.

Who am I even?! 26/6/2019

What I’m using is actually working.

It’s renewing my skin.

Just skincare. I’m G L O W I N G ! 21/6/19

The texture of my skin overall has improved, minimal fine lines, and did I mention it glows?

I’m about to turn 39!

SenePlex Complex is the real deal.

Sure, I could throw a bunch of stats at you from independent lab tests on women of all ages over eight weeks (or you could just read about it here), but for me seeing is believing. Feeling is believing.

On a daily basis, I use in the morning:

  • Body Wash as my facial cleanser (yes I do! I’m oily skinned)
  • Climate Control
  • Brightening Multivitamin Treatment
  • Anti-Wrinkle Treatment
  • Colour Correcting Tinted Moisturizer

In the evening I use:

  • Fooops Makeup Remover
  • Body Wash as my facial cleanser (yes I do! I’m oily skinned)
  • Climate Control
  • Brightening Multivitamin Treatment
  • Anti-Wrinkle Treatment
  • Normal to Oily Evening Moisturizer
  • Eye Cream

I look forward to my routine. It’s me time.

So, I prefer to refer to our skincare and cosmetics as skin renewing rather than anti-ageing.

Does your current skincare and cosmetics do that? I’ll wait…

“Alexa. How Many Days Until Christmas?

It’s coming

36. That’s how many days there are. I haven’t even started shopping. I have a plan though. Some of it involves yarn, of course. Being the manic knitter that I am, someone is getting handmade gifts. I may have been “window” shopping this morning for some special yarn on a local yarn store’s website. So many pretties. Want to pat them all. In the meantime, I’m making myself my first sweater for myself…as we head into summer. Logical, right? Totally.

In my previous post, I went on at length about exfoliating with the Smoothing Body Scrub and moisturizing too.

Let’s take a step back and look at what I think is an overlooked product, the Moisturizing Body Wash.

“A little dab will do ya”

We cleanse our face daily with care, so why shouldn’t we do the same for our body?

Traditional soaps dry and crack the skin. Blergh! The Body Wash moisturizes, conditions and restores the skin’s pH balance.

Made with an Aloe Vera juice base and ingredients that attract impurities, your skin is cleansed gently without stripping you of moisture or with the use of harsh detergents.

I’ve touched on humectants before, and the Moisturizing Body Wash is formulated with the phenomenal Sodium Hyaluronate to keep your skin hydrated, and of course, SenePlex Complex to increase cellular renewal.

To use, add a small dollop to a shower puff and lather up!

After showering, use either Advanced Hydration Body Lotion or Shea Butter Body Cream.

You can also use the Moisturizing Body Wash as a bubble bath and as a shaving lotion!
Yes, for the non-bearded blokes out there, get it on your face and shave! Follow with Climate Control for after shave care.
