A Matter of Perspective

So I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.

Yes, I use and sell cosmetics and skincare that is anti-ageing.

However I’ve changed the way I see what I deem “anti-ageing”.
It’s term for a byproduct of renewing your skin by using our products.

I recently had my first ever facial. I have acne scarring, expression lines, and large pores. That’s all I see, that’s what I cover up.

This me from August 2017. Wow.

I was surprised, however, to hear the aesthetician tell me my skin was in great condition. She saw past what I focus on. She could see it’s hydrated, glowing, and healing from the acne.

Who am I even?! 26/6/2019

What I’m using is actually working.

It’s renewing my skin.

Just skincare. I’m G L O W I N G ! 21/6/19

The texture of my skin overall has improved, minimal fine lines, and did I mention it glows?

I’m about to turn 39!

SenePlex Complex is the real deal.

Sure, I could throw a bunch of stats at you from independent lab tests on women of all ages over eight weeks (or you could just read about it here), but for me seeing is believing. Feeling is believing.

On a daily basis, I use in the morning:

  • Body Wash as my facial cleanser (yes I do! I’m oily skinned)
  • Climate Control
  • Brightening Multivitamin Treatment
  • Anti-Wrinkle Treatment
  • Colour Correcting Tinted Moisturizer

In the evening I use:

  • Fooops Makeup Remover
  • Body Wash as my facial cleanser (yes I do! I’m oily skinned)
  • Climate Control
  • Brightening Multivitamin Treatment
  • Anti-Wrinkle Treatment
  • Normal to Oily Evening Moisturizer
  • Eye Cream

I look forward to my routine. It’s me time.

So, I prefer to refer to our skincare and cosmetics as skin renewing rather than anti-ageing.

Does your current skincare and cosmetics do that? I’ll wait…

It me

So I’ve been up to a bit of late and I’m not slowing down! This is a good thing.

I’ve met some lovely people through the market I did late February. I plan to return to the A Plus Market in May!

I’ve been doing makeovers on others and myself. I completed a challenge for a 70s glam rock Debbie Harry inspired look as voted by my Facebook group.

I did this live which is a challenge in and of itself!

I then followed up with a more French inspired look for the school fair committee meeting I had that evening haha

More about the school fair later.

I recently got my new glasses that I really need to wear around the house, especially when reading and writing. Thank you to the lovelies at Oscar Wylee for their help.

I had a much needed haircut with my awesome stylist. She was incredibly patient as I had to bring my girls with me, making it the least relaxing appointment I’ve had for a very long time!

I’ve been selfie heavy of late…really when am I not selfie heavy? But I’ve been feeling fierce! Bright colours, reflecting how I feel. That’s what I love about makeup!

My daughters see my confidence and this gives them confidence, so I keep it up and keep it going. I do this for them. They are my life. But I also so them it’s okay to cry, to have emotions. To be human. We work together and work through it if something is troubling them.

I was inspired by Brie Larson as Captain Marvel and her eye makeup on the cover of EW. So 90s I love it! I will probably take my girls to see Captain Marvel after I see it this week. If I can squeeze in the time.

I am almost completely booked up for March. I have a demo, makeovers, a fete, and more. I can fit more in I think but I mustn’t forget to take time for myself.

Detox and moisturizing mask time!

April is shaping up to be a huge month with the SeneGence 20th anniversary seminar in Brisbane that I’ll be attending. To say I’m excited is an understatement 😆 My favourite speaker/coach is coming from the USA and I’m beside myself!

There are dresses to try on today which will be fun, coffee to consume, and more to plan and do.

Till next time 💋
