The Skinny On Firmness

Back from a break on Phillip Island by the freezing cold sea with my family and my knittaz. No whales were spotted but good times had by all. Many carbs and coffees were consumed. Lots of knitting was done. I have carb regrets *pats belly*

As they say, find your tribe and love them hard!

I was asked by one of my lovely customers recently about which products are best for firming up the skin, thus inspiring me to write this post listing my top 3 firming products in the SeneGence range.

Evening Moisturizer: Because the evening moisturizers contain a higher concentration of the SenePlex Complex, this will help speed up the firmness and plumpness of your skin cells even faster. This also seals in the following treatments when you apply them to your face.

SeneSerum C: The C-Beads present a smoothing and anti-wrinkle effect to skin that consist of a more advanced and effective form of stabilized Vitamin C and made of elements which help to repair previous damage of cells. Therefore, the active vitamin C in the serum helps to stimulate collagen production and improve the skins firmness and elasticity.

Anti-Wrinkle Treatment: It contains ingredients that work to reduce light to medium wrinkle depth by an average of 34% to 63%. Wowsers! The Anti-Wrinkle Treatment is formulated with ingredients that reduce the intensity of wrinkle lines (and therefore the depth) while at the same time stimulate cell production and restore proper moisture content of cells to produce fuller, more plump cells in areas that are recessed. I really ought to get on to this because I needs it!

Bonus: Anything with the SenePlex Complex as it increases firmness and elasticity, an average of 51.9%. The more you layer the more you get the actives to work.

Therefore, more moisture means more firmness and plumper skin cells and more radiant skin and who doesn’t want that?!

Oh, So Glamorous!

This weekend, I held a Glamour Clinic for my customers/potential customers in my home.

It’s a great reason for me to tidy up my house! haha!

I had my whole (growing) kit laid out for them to check out and see what was new since my last clinic.

I colour-matched foundation, tinted moisturizers, recommended LipSense colours and did some make overs.

Basically, we sat around playing make up, ate cheese and drank prosecco.

Fun was had by all. I still need to practice applying eyeliner on others. I apparently really suck at it. Who knew it would be so hard?!

I’m in the beginning stages of starting my certification to become a makeup artist through SeneGence.

It’s scary and exciting all at once!

Preparation, procrastination, and more research. I am a master procrastinator. A procraftinator, if you will. I knit or watch make up tutorials (or sports) when I should be tidying/cleaning/washing/unf*^%$ing the house. But I digress.

As I’ve mentioned previously, I have anxiety and ADHD and it can sometimes makes things very overwhelming, hence my need to research and watch and learn all the things so I’m ready to go.

I’ve been researching, as I do, to upgrade my makeup brushes (very soon), which I’m sure I’ll review for y’all, to improve my skills in blending, blending and blending. Did I mention blending?

Circling back to the Glamour Clinic, I’ll continue to run them, to learn as I go, to teach my customers/models about the products I’m using on them and the techniques I’m using so that they can go home and do it themselves.

Over the next 12 months I need to have completed 58 different techniques on 58 different faces! So, I’ll be calling on you local folk for your help!

Becoming a make up artist is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time but lay dormant in my subconscious for a couple of decades. Good lord, that makes me feel old, especially with my birthday this week! But I digress.

Finding your fire again is invigorating; I’m not just a stay at home mum. As my daughters like to call me, I’m ‘the makeup lady’. And I’m very happy with that.
